Since 2004, Kristen has had the privilege of walking alongside individuals and couples as they begin to uncover the larger story unfolding both around them and within them. One of her greatest joys as a therapist is witnessing God redeem brokenness and lead people toward healing, restoration, and wholeness.

Kristen’s therapeutic approach is a blend of Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Neurobiology, and Attachment Theory. When working with couples she incorporates both Gottman and Imago therapy techniques. She works with clients in a collaborative way to build rapport and to facilitate the client’s ownership in the room so clients can recognize their part in growing and understanding their story. She is extensively trained in the integration of psychology and faith, and faith-based counseling tools are available for integration at the client’s request. However, people of all backgrounds are welcome. Kristen also practices from a trauma informed care lens. Kristen is passionate about working with couples and adults in all seasons.

Kristen is married and the mother of four children. Outside the counseling office, she enjoys spending time running, reading, hiking, or relaxing at Kiawah Island, as well as making memories with her two dogs—a Goldendoodle named Pippin and a Cavapoo named Winston.

Kristen sees clients in person in the North Metro Atlanta area as well as via telehealth in all of Georgia. She also sees clients via telehealth from North Carolina and South Carolina.
